Opere ermetiche

Opere ermetiche serves as a critical scholarly edition of the writings of Ludovico Lazzarelli, a 15th-century Italian humanist and poet deeply immersed in the hermetic tradition. Published by Fabrizio Serra in 2009, this collection brings together complex, esoteric texts that bridge the gap between classical antiquity and Renaissance Neoplatonism. The compilation was designed to provide researchers and historians with a reliable, annotated primary source for understanding how Renaissance thinkers synthesized alchemy and ancient philosophy with Christian mysticism.

The editorial work reflects the rigorous standards of Italian academic publishing, focusing on the preservation of Lazzarelli's challenging Latin prose. By gathering these scattered works into a single volume, the publisher sought to illuminate a transitional period in intellectual history often overshadowed by more mainstream Renaissance philosophers. The edition has been well-regarded within academic circles for its contribution to the study of early modern intellectual history, offering a vital resource for those tracing the influence of the Corpus Hermeticum on European thought.
