The Tempest (Mulherin, Jennifer. Shakespeare for Everyone.)

Part of the Shakespeare for Everyone series published by Evans Brothers in the early 1990s, this edition of The Tempest was designed to provide an accessible entry point to the playwright’s work for younger readers and students. The series sought to bridge the gap between complex Renaissance literature and the educational requirements of the British curriculum, emphasizing clarity and engagement.

The book features an editorial approach that balances the original text with explanatory commentary and contextual framing, a hallmark of Jennifer Mulherin’s educational contributions to the series. By integrating literary analysis with student-friendly presentation, the publication was received as a functional, practical resource for school libraries and private collections during its decade of production.
