Thibault and Malcolm/ A Feast for Galileo

A Feast for Galileo is a work of historical fiction penned by Malcolm Hudson, released in 2004 through BookSurge Publishing. It fits into the broader context of independent historical narratives published during the early 2000s, a period that saw the rise of self-publishing platforms that allowed authors to bring niche scholarly or dramatic explorations to the public market without the constraints of traditional major presses.

The narrative centers on the intersection of scientific discovery and the social pressures of the early modern period. As part of the Thibault and Malcolm series, the text reflects Hudson's interest in the thematic struggles of Renaissance figures, aiming to dramatize the intellectual environment surrounding Galileo Galilei. Like many titles from BookSurge in that era, it was primarily distributed through direct-to-consumer online channels, catering to readers with an interest in historical period pieces.
