Provenance

Where it came from

Andrea Mingardi Dal Vivo captures the soul of Italian rhythm and blues as performed by the Bolognese singer-songwriter. Released independently by Mingardi, this live recording serves as a testament to his charismatic stage presence and his deep-rooted connection to the Italian music scene, where he has long been recognized for his gravelly vocal style and his ability to blend soul, blues, and dialect-driven pop.

The album reflects Mingardi's autonomy as an artist, opting for a self-released format that mirrors his career-long commitment to creative control. The design and production focus on capturing the raw energy of his concert performances, prioritizing the intimacy between the performer and his audience over the polish of a studio setting. It remains a prized item for fans of his work, representing a pure, unfiltered expression of his musical evolution.
