BLISS

Released in early 2025 on the independent French label Le Triton, Bliss represents a sophisticated addition to the discography of violinist and composer Régis Huby. The album emerged from Huby’s long-standing commitment to exploring the intersections of contemporary jazz, classical structures, and electro-acoustic textures. As a centerpiece of his current creative output, the project continues his exploration of collaborative improvisation and nuanced, atmospheric soundscapes that define the label’s eclectic catalog.

The production philosophy behind Bliss emphasizes a minimalist aesthetic, favoring clarity and dynamic range to showcase the intricate interplay between the instrumentalists. Huby’s design choices for the release reflect a deliberate departure from dense, ornate compositions in favor of a more ethereal, meditative quality. Early reception has highlighted the album's technical precision and its ability to evoke a sense of sonic stillness, further establishing Huby’s reputation for disciplined yet expressive musical storytelling within the modern European jazz scene.
