This 1999 release from Malmö Audio Production serves as a dedicated showcase for the orchestral and chamber works of Hilding Rosenberg, a foundational figure in Swedish twentieth-century music. This specific production was curated to document his expansive compositional legacy, ensuring that his nuanced approach to harmonic structure remained accessible to a contemporary audience.

The recording features the interpretive work of Øyvind Sørum, whose involvement highlights the collaborative efforts between Scandinavian performers and labels committed to preserving regional classical heritage.
