Inkantation (Orgelmusik Von Bertram Stubenrauch Und Eduard Tregler)

Released in 2022 by the label Then Audio + Video, Inkantation features a collaborative organ recital centered on the works of Eduard Tregler, performed by organist Bertram Stubenrauch and accompanied by Johannes Trümpler. The recording was produced to highlight the nuanced acoustics of traditional pipe organs, capturing a specific repertoire of Romantic-era compositions that emphasize both technical virtuosity and atmospheric, meditative soundscapes.

The album serves as a contemporary document of the organ tradition, with its design reflecting the label's commitment to high-fidelity captures of liturgical and concert instruments. By pairing the dense, intricate scores of Tregler with the interpretive modern performance style of Stubenrauch, the release aims to bridge the gap between historical organ music and the expectations of modern audiophiles who prioritize spatial presence and tonal clarity in classical recordings.
