Jenna Glatt

Jenna Glatt's 2014 self-titled release exists as a niche independent project, produced outside the infrastructure of traditional commercial record labels. Typical of the mid-2010s DIY singer-songwriter circuit, this CD was likely pressed in a limited run to serve as promotional material for live performances and local distribution. It represents the artist's attempt to capture a specific period of her developing sound, prioritizing personal creative control over wide-scale industrial distribution.

The physical presentation of the disc reflects its grassroots origins, focusing on intimate songwriting and a stripped-back aesthetic. Without the oversight of a major label design team, the artwork and packaging lean into a minimalist, direct-to-listener approach common among unsigned musicians of that era. Reception was contained primarily to local circles and intimate fan networks, marking the release as a private entry in the broader landscape of independent 2010s acoustic-pop archives.
