少女Q

少女Q was released in 2005 under the Starchild label as a character-driven single tied to the anime series Pani Poni Dash!. The track is performed by the cast members of Momotsuki Academy Class 1-C, specifically featuring the characters Miyako Uehara and the enigmatic 6-gou, also known as the alien Rokugo. The song reflects the quirky, high-energy, and often surreal tone of the series, which was directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and produced by the animation studio Shaft.

The composition is characteristic of the mid-2000s anime music aesthetic, blending J-pop sensibilities with the voice-acting flair typical of character singles. It was designed to function both as an extension of the show's chaotic storytelling and as a collectible memento for the dedicated fanbase of the series. The release was well-received within the anime community at the time, serving as a staple of the show's promotional soundtrack and reinforcing the distinct personalities of the cast during the height of the series' popularity.
