S Nádhernou Duhou

S Nádhernou Duhou was released in 1997 by the Czech label Tommü Records, serving as a late-career collaborative project between the legendary Czech jazz and pop vocalist Eva Pilarová and the singer Milan Bürger. The album emerged during a period when Pilarová, a fixture of the Czechoslovak music scene since the 1960s, was increasingly exploring diverse duets and revisiting traditional pop arrangements, aiming to blend her established vocal maturity with the contemporary production standards of the late nineties.

The album reflects the collaborative spirit prevalent in the Czech recording industry at the time, where seasoned veterans often paired with younger artists to reach broader demographics. The production focused on a light, accessible sound that favored the melodic sensibilities for which Pilarová was renowned. While the release remains a niche entry in Pilarová’s extensive discography, it is regarded by collectors as a document of her sustained professional activity in the post-communist era and her commitment to maintaining a presence in the evolving music market.
