Tähti CD 2 Toukokuu 1995

The Tähti CD series, including the May 1995 release, was curated by Enormi-Opus Oy as a compilation project highlighting contemporary Finnish popular music. Emerging from the vibrant mid-nineties Nordic pop scene, these releases served as a medium to showcase emerging talent alongside established radio-friendly acts. The compilations were designed to capture the shifting soundscape of the era, reflecting the production trends and musical aesthetics that defined the mid-nineties Finnish charts.

The design and packaging reflected the era's minimalist aesthetic, favoring clean, accessible layouts intended to grab the attention of record store browsers. These compilations were generally received as functional snapshots of the time, providing listeners with a convenient way to track the most prominent hits of the month. While these discs were intended for broad commercial consumption, they remain today as archival artifacts of the specific cultural climate surrounding Finnish media and entertainment in the mid-1990s.
