Where it came from
Trinity, released in 2024 on the Vague Á L'âme label, represents a significant development in the discography of the experimental electronic project Rivière De Corps. The album was conceived during a period of transition for the artist, aiming to bridge the gap between ambient soundscapes and rhythmic industrial percussion. It serves as a meditation on the concept of triplicity, exploring the intersections of noise, melody, and silence.
The album's minimalist cover art and sonic direction were developed to mirror the label’s signature aesthetic, which prioritizes tactile, atmosphere-heavy production. Since its release, the project has been noted by niche music critics for its dense layers and unconventional mixing techniques. It has been received as a challenging, introspective work that demands attentive listening, solidifying the artist's standing within the contemporary avant-garde electronic scene.
