2000 AD #2473

2000 AD is a long-running British science fiction comics anthology, first published in 1977 and renowned for its distinctive satirical, often dystopian tone. Issue #2473, released in early 2024, continues the publication's legacy of featuring a rotating cast of high-concept serials, anchored by its most iconic character, Judge Dredd. This issue reflects the magazine's ongoing commitment to blending established creative stalwarts with fresh artistic perspectives, maintaining a gritty, cyberpunk aesthetic that has defined the brand for decades.

The cover art and interior features for this issue are part of the broader design philosophy of the modern 2000 AD era, which emphasizes visceral, detail-heavy illustrations designed to stand out on crowded newsstands. Editors and artists associated with this period focus on maintaining the subversive spirit of the original 1970s creators while exploring contemporary technological themes. The reception of these recent issues remains strong among the dedicated 'Thrill-power' fan base, who continue to value the anthology's role as a vital platform for British comic book talent.
