2000 AD #2487

2000 AD is a foundational British weekly science fiction anthology comic that first launched in 1977, serving as a pillar of the UK comics industry. Issue 2487, published in May 2024, continues the magazine's long-standing tradition of showcasing diverse, high-concept genre fiction, most notably featuring the ongoing adventures of Judge Dredd, the satirical and gritty lawman of Mega-City One who has remained the publication's consistent figurehead for nearly five decades.

The issue features work from a rotating stable of established and emerging creators, adhering to the publication's signature aesthetic of sharp, kinetic linework and dark, subversive humor. As part of the modern era of the magazine, this issue maintains the editorial mission established by founders like Pat Mills, focusing on punchy, serialized storytelling that critiques contemporary social and political landscapes through a lens of extreme speculative fiction.
