2000 AD #2492

2000 AD is a foundational British weekly science fiction anthology comic that first debuted in 1977. Issue 2492, released in 2024, continues the publication's long-standing tradition of blending satirical political commentary with high-octane speculative fiction. It represents the ongoing evolution of the comic, maintaining the established aesthetic of sharp, kinetic visual storytelling that has come to define the Rebellion Developments era of the magazine.

The issue features work from a rotating roster of creators central to the modern 2000 AD landscape, such as the ongoing Judge Dredd series written by Rob Williams or Al Ewing. These stories are crafted to provide biting, fast-paced narratives that resonate with the publication's legacy of counter-cultural critique. Historically, 2000 AD has been praised for its influence on the wider comic book industry, and individual issues like 2492 are produced as both standalone reading experiences and segments of long-form, multi-part serials.
