2.5-Jigen no Ririsa #25

2.5-Jigen no Ririsa, also known as 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, originated as a manga series written and illustrated by Yu Hashimoto. First serialized in Shonen Jump+ in 2019, the narrative explores the intersections of cosplay, otaku culture, and creative passion, centering on a student protagonist who discovers a shared artistic vision with a girl obsessed with a fictional character. The series is celebrated for its earnest portrayal of the dedication required to bring two-dimensional characters into the physical realm.

The 25th chapter continues the series' established aesthetic, characterized by Hashimoto’s detailed character designs and focus on the emotional stakes of costume craftsmanship. As the manga gained popularity, it sparked widespread discussion regarding the technical challenges of cosplay and the sincerity of fandom. The series was eventually adapted into an anime, further solidifying its status as a notable modern contribution to the rom-com and slice-of-life genres within the manga landscape.
