Adventure Comics #460

Adventure Comics #460, published in late 1978, serves as a significant chapter in the long-running DC Comics anthology series. During this period, the title had transitioned away from its historic association with Superboy to focus on various features, most notably the Aquaman back-up stories. This issue reflects the late Bronze Age of comic books, a time when DC was experimenting with rotating casts and shifting narrative tones to maintain relevance in a changing marketplace.

The issue features artwork and creative contributions consistent with the house style of DC editors and staff of the era. The cover and interior stories were designed to provide accessible entry points for readers, utilizing the established visual language of the Justice League universe. While not part of a seminal crossover event, the issue is sought after by completists of the series who value the continuity of the Aquaman narrative arc developed during this specific editorial cycle.
