Andy Morgan Gesamtausgabe #5

The Andy Morgan Gesamtausgabe, or 'Complete Collection,' was published by Carlsen Verlag to provide a definitive, high-quality archival edition of the classic Franco-Belgian comic series originally titled 'Bernard Prince.' Created by writer Greg and artist Hermann Huppen in 1969, the series emerged from the golden age of the Belgian magazine Tintin, characterized by its gritty, seafaring adventure narratives and Hermann’s signature realistic, atmosphere-heavy illustrative style.

The Gesamtausgabe series was designed to appeal to collectors seeking a unified, hardcover presentation of the character’s evolution. These volumes often feature restored artwork and editorial commentary that contextualizes the shift in creative direction as the series progressed. Upon release, this specific collection was praised by enthusiasts for preserving the legacy of the Cormoran crew while offering a refined reading experience that elevated the original serialized magazine installments into a cohesive literary format.
