Après l'Orage #1

Après l'Orage is a notable French-language comic series that emerged from the independent bande dessinée scene, focusing on atmospheric storytelling and nuanced character development. The first issue serves as the entry point into a world defined by its introspective tone and distinct visual style, which prioritizes mood and setting to establish its narrative foundation.

The design and illustration of the series are characterized by a minimalist, expressive aesthetic intended to evoke the emotional resonance of the title. Created by independent artists who sought to break away from traditional genre tropes, the work received positive critical attention within the European comic community for its evocative use of color and panel composition, positioning it as a significant piece of contemporary indie sequential art.
