Báijīn Zhōngjú #11

Báijīn Zhōngjú, translated as Platinum Finale, is a specialized series of limited-edition collectibles that emerged from the vibrant independent graphic and toy design scene in East Asia during the early 2000s. Issue number 11 was released as part of an experimental run intended to blend traditional character aesthetics with modern, minimalist industrial design trends of the era, reflecting a period when designers were increasingly focused on clean lines and matte finishes.

The series was largely driven by a collective of anonymous digital artists and sculptors who sought to elevate the status of small-format figures from children's toys to displayable design objects. Issue 11 is particularly noted for its distinctive color palette and geometric simplification, which were intended to challenge the highly detailed character designs prevalent at the time. Upon its release, it received positive recognition within specialized design publications for its bold departure from conventional aesthetic norms.
