Boruto: Two Blue Vortex #4

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex #4 serves as a significant installment in the post-time skip continuation of the Naruto franchise. Written by Masashi Kishimoto and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, the series picks up years after the events of the original Boruto manga, reflecting a shift in tone toward a more mature, post-apocalyptic narrative. Published by Shueisha, the series is serialized in V Jump, maintaining the lineage of the long-running ninja saga while introducing a darker aesthetic reflective of the protagonist's displaced reality.

The design of this specific issue follows the established visual identity crafted by Mikio Ikemoto, whose style is noted for its sharper, more angular character portrayals compared to the original Naruto run. This issue continues the narrative arc of the omnipotence-altered world where Boruto Uzumaki is an outcast, focusing on the tactical confrontations and emotional stakes that have come to define this chapter of the series. Its reception is closely tied to the broader fan engagement with the series' pivot into the 'Two Blue Vortex' era.
