Buffy the Vampire Slayer #57

Buffy the Vampire Slayer #57, titled 'All's Fair', was published by Dark Horse Comics in 2003 as part of their ongoing licensed series based on the television show. This issue was released during the final year of the show's broadcast, operating within the established canon of the seventh season. It served as a bridge for fans looking for supplemental narratives to complement the complex onscreen arcs of Buffy Summers and her allies.

The story was written by Christopher Golden and Tom Sniegoski, two authors who were prolific contributors to the Buffy expanded universe. The art for this particular era of the series sought to capture the likenesses of the cast while maintaining a distinct comic book aesthetic. While the series was generally well-received by the dedicated fan base for expanding the lore beyond the constraints of the television production schedule, it functioned as an essential piece of multimedia storytelling that flourished before the franchise moved to official season eight sequels.
