By the Grace of the Gods #10

By the Grace of the Gods is a popular light novel series authored by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra, which began as a web novel on the user-generated site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2014. The narrative centers on Ryoma Takebayashi, a middle-aged Japanese businessman who reincarnates as a young boy in a fantasy world, where he dedicates his life to researching slimes and practicing magic. The light novel adaptation, published by Hobby Japan under their HJ Novels imprint, has been widely recognized for its gentle, slice-of-life approach to the isekai genre.

Volume 10 of the series continues the established tone of the work, focusing on the protagonist's growth and his interactions within the guild systems of his new world. Ririnra’s character designs remain a core component of the physical releases, maintaining a whimsical and clean aesthetic that complements Roy’s low-stakes storytelling. Upon its release, the volume served to further expand the lore of the series as it continued to gain traction both domestically in Japan and internationally through English-language licensing by J-Novel Club.
