Charlotte: Toaru Jijo no Shiro-Zukae Monogatari #1

Charlotte: Toaru Jijo no Shiro-Zukae Monogatari, or Charlotte: A Certain Maid's Tale, is a spin-off manga series that centers on the perspective of a secondary character from the broader Charlotte franchise. Produced to expand the world-building of the original anime, the first issue was released to offer readers a different tone, focusing on the everyday domestic challenges and lighthearted interactions experienced by those residing within the central setting.

The character design and illustrations were crafted to maintain continuity with the aesthetic established by the anime’s original studio. By centering the narrative on a maid's viewpoint, the authors sought to provide a grounded, slice-of-life counterbalance to the high-stakes supernatural themes of the main series. Upon its release, it was received as a niche expansion for dedicated fans interested in the peripheral details and atmospheric charm of the franchise's world.
