Comix Kiss Comix #2

Kiss Comix #2 emerged in the mid-1990s as part of the Spanish adult comic anthology series published by La Cúpula. This series became a significant cultural touchstone in underground European erotic illustration, known for its bold, transgressive style that often pushed the boundaries of traditional graphic storytelling. The publication emerged from a vibrant scene of alternative creators who sought to blend classic comic sensibilities with adult-oriented themes.

The aesthetic of the series was defined by the diverse talents of international underground illustrators, including prominent figures like Carlos Giménez and various contributors who favored visceral, expressive line work. The editorial direction emphasized an avant-garde approach to eroticism, prioritizing narrative experimentation over mainstream appeal. Upon release, the series was received as a provocative exploration of counter-culture media, securing a dedicated, albeit niche, following among collectors of underground graphic literature.
