Comix Kiss Comix #6

Kiss Comix was a long-running Spanish underground comic anthology published by Ediciones La Cúpula, beginning in the early 1990s. The series was designed to showcase erotic and adult-themed narratives, heavily influenced by the tradition of European graphic novels and the libertarian spirit of the post-Franco Spanish creative scene. It provided a platform for both local Spanish artists and international contributors to explore transgressive themes that were frequently excluded from mainstream publishing.

The publication became known for its eclectic mix of artistic styles, ranging from dark, painterly realism to stylized, underground-influenced caricature. Issue number 6 followed the established editorial mandate of the series, curating a selection of vignettes that prioritized atmospheric storytelling and provocative aesthetics. While the series was often controversial, it earned a dedicated following among adult comic enthusiasts who valued its unapologetic dedication to artistic freedom and its role in keeping the adult anthology format viable in the European market.
