Datenshi Kōmori-kun no Junai #2

Datenshi Kōmori-kun no Junai, or Fallen Angel Bat-Boy's Pure Love, emerged as a niche title within the Japanese independent manga and doujinshi landscape. This series was produced during a period when small-press gothic and supernatural themes were gaining traction among specific subcultures, allowing creators to explore unconventional character dynamics that often stepped outside the rigid constraints of mainstream shojo or shonen publications.

The design and narrative approach of the second issue reflect the stylistic conventions of late-twentieth-century self-published manga, characterized by expressive line work and a focus on moody, atmospheric storytelling. While the series remains an obscure curiosity to the general public, it is recognized by collectors of underground printed media as an example of the era's experimentation with dark fantasy motifs and character-driven drama.
