Die Blauen Boys Gesamtausgabe #5

Die Blauen Boys, known in the original French as Les Tuniques Bleues, is a long-running Franco-Belgian comics series created by writer Raoul Cauvin and artist Louis Salvérius, with later long-term illustration duties handled by Willy Lambil. Set during the American Civil War, the series centers on the contrasting personalities of Sergeant Chesterfield and Corporal Blutch. This particular volume is part of the Gesamtausgabe, or collected edition series, designed to preserve the historical progression of the work for dedicated collectors.

The Gesamtausgabe editions were compiled to provide a comprehensive look at the evolution of the series, featuring chronologically ordered stories accompanied by editorial content that provides context on the historical backdrop of the 1860s. The design reflects the commitment of publisher Salleck Publications to high-quality archival standards, ensuring that both the classic scripts of Cauvin and the evolving artistic style of Lambil are presented in a format that honors the series' status as a cornerstone of European adventure comics.
