Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck - Spezial #25

Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck - Spezial is a long-running German comic book series published by Ehapa. It was established as a recurring anthology format that curated selected stories from the broader Disney comic universe, often focusing on reprints of classic material originally published in titles like Micky Maus or the Micky Maus-Magazin. By aggregating these stories into special-themed issues, the series served as a convenient way for readers to collect narrative arcs and artist-specific highlights that had previously appeared in more ephemeral weekly formats.

Issue number 25 follows the established editorial tradition of the series, which prioritizes the high-quality storytelling and iconic illustrations associated with Carl Barks or Don Rosa, alongside other prominent Disney studio artists. The design reflects the practical, functional aesthetic common to European mass-market comics of its era, characterized by a standard softcover format and high-color printing intended for widespread distribution. As part of this Spezial lineage, the issue is valued by collectors not for rarity, but for its preservation of a specific era of Duck-verse storytelling within the German-speaking market.
