Dinghai Fusheng Records #1

Dinghai Fusheng Records, or Dinghai Fusheng Lu, began as a web novel written by the acclaimed author Feitian Yexiang, which was serialized on the Jinjiang Literature City platform. The narrative centers on a grand, mythological reimagining of Chinese history during the Jin Dynasty, focusing on themes of spiritual awakening and the restoration of a fragmented land. Its transition into a manhua series provided a visual medium for the intricate world-building, utilizing a dynamic art style to capture the intense martial and magical encounters central to the source material.

The character design and illustration for this adaptation were crafted to emphasize the contrast between the ethereal nature of the protagonists and the harsh reality of their war-torn setting. By prioritizing expressive line work and atmospheric color palettes, the visual team aimed to reflect the emotional weight of Feitian Yexiang’s prose. The first issue was received with significant enthusiasm by the existing readership, noted for its successful translation of complex mystical lore into a cohesive and visually striking sequential format.
