D.N.Angel New Edition #3

D.N.Angel, originally serialized by Yukiru Sugisaki in Monthly Asuka starting in 1997, follows the supernatural transformation of teenager Daisuke Niwa into the phantom thief Dark Mousy. The series became a defining title of the early 2000s shojo fantasy boom, blending romantic comedy tropes with gothic aesthetic sensibilities. Sugisaki’s intricate character designs and lush, fluid art style were highly characteristic of the era's focus on elaborate visual detail.

The New Edition of D.N.Angel was released to celebrate the series' enduring legacy and to provide fans with a high-quality, omnibus-style archival collection. These volumes were designed to present Sugisaki’s original artwork in a refined format, often featuring updated cover illustrations that reflect the author's refined artistic evolution since the original run. The release was met with enthusiasm from collectors who sought to revisit the complex lore and character dynamics that helped establish the series as a mainstay in the manga landscape.
