Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken - Shinsō Sairokuban #25

The Shinsō Sairokuban edition of Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken was published by Shueisha beginning in 2020 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original manga series. This line was designed to re-release the complete saga of Dai and his companions in a larger, high-quality format, often featuring updated cover art by the original illustrator, Koji Inada. The series was initially conceived as a tie-in to the 2020 anime remake, serving both as a nostalgic touchstone for veteran readers and an accessible entry point for a new generation of fans.

Issue #25 serves as one of the final volumes in this twenty-five-volume collection, concluding the expansive story arc. The design aesthetic for this specific release reflects a clean, modern manga presentation, utilizing high-grade paper and recolored original artwork to emphasize the dynamic action sequences characteristic of the series. Upon its release, this edition was well-received by the collecting community for its cohesive spine art and the inclusion of supplemental materials that deepen the lore of the Dragon Quest universe.
