Excalibur #115

Excalibur #115 was published by Marvel Comics in 1997, marking a pivotal moment in the final year of the original series. By this stage in its history, the title had evolved from its initial roots as a lighthearted, eccentric British team book into a more grounded exploration of the mutant experience, heavily influenced by the shifting status quo of the X-Men universe at the time.

The issue features art by Joe Madureira and pencils by Casey Jones, showcasing the kinetic, anime-influenced visual style that defined much of Marvel's aesthetic in the late 1990s. As the series approached its conclusion with issue #125, this specific installment was part of an effort to resolve lingering subplots involving team members like Pete Wisdom and Meggan, reflecting the creative challenge of wrapping up a decade-long narrative in an era of tightening editorial oversight.
