Fire Force Omnibus #1

Fire Force, or Enn Enn no Shouboutai, was created by manga artist Atsushi Ohkubo, who previously gained international acclaim for his series Soul Eater. The series debuted in 2015 within the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine, offering a stylistic blend of supernatural action and dark fantasy centered around special fire brigades battling 'Infernals.' Ohkubo is noted for his distinct, sharp character designs and dynamic kinetic energy, which he refined over his career to create the frantic, high-stakes visual language found in this series.

The omnibus edition was produced to collect several volumes of the original tankobon into a single, comprehensive reading experience. Published by Kodansha, this format is designed for collectors and new readers who prefer a weightier volume that showcases the detailed paneling and intricate fire effects inherent to Ohkubo's drafting. The release reflects the modern industry trend of reissuing popular long-running shonen manga in larger, higher-quality formats to preserve the visual impact of the original art.
