FullMoon. En Busca de la Luna Llena #7

Full Moon o Sagashite, known in Spanish as Full Moon: En Busca de la Luna Llena, is a shojo manga series created by Arina Tanemura. The series was originally serialized in the Japanese magazine Ribon between 2002 and 2004, capturing the hearts of readers with its poignant blend of magical girl tropes and the bittersweet realities of music, ambition, and mortality. The seventh volume continues the journey of Mitsuki Koyama, a young girl whose dream of becoming a singer is complicated by a terminal throat condition and the intervention of supernatural beings.

The Spanish-language release was spearheaded by Glénat (now Editores de Tebeos) during the early 2000s, reflecting the era's significant expansion of the manga market in Spain. Arina Tanemura’s design aesthetic is characterized by her signature delicate linework, elaborate character costumes, and a dreamlike, decorative paneling that emphasizes the emotional interiority of her protagonists. This volume remains a representative artifact of the mid-2000s boom in shojo licensing, cherished by collectors for its role in establishing the visual identity of the magical idol subgenre in international markets.
