Gøg og Gokke #13

Gøg og Gokke was the Danish-language comic book series featuring Laurel and Hardy, published by Interpresse. The series capitalized on the enduring popularity of the comedic duo in Denmark, adapting their classic film personas into a sequential art format that ran through the mid-20th century. Issue #13 was produced during a period when the publisher focused on translating and repackaging international comic content to satisfy the local demand for humor and slapstick entertainment.

The design of the publication followed the standard aesthetic of European comic serials of the era, utilizing bold, expressive lines to capture the distinct physical mannerisms of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Artists tasked with these adaptations aimed to translate the duo's rhythmic, visual gags into static panels, maintaining the spirit of their film shorts. While the series served as a staple for lighthearted reading, it is now primarily regarded as a piece of mid-century pop culture nostalgia within the Nordic market.
