Girls Zombie Party #4

Girls Zombie Party was a limited-run independent comic series that emerged during the mid-2000s wave of genre-blending horror comics. Issue #4 serves as the conclusion to the series' primary narrative arc, released by the publisher to resolve the cliffhangers introduced in the earlier installments. It represents the broader indie-publisher ethos of the era, which often prioritized irreverent humor and stylized violence over traditional superhero archetypes.

The visual identity of the series was defined by a commitment to the 'grindhouse' aesthetic, favoring exaggerated anatomy and bold, pulp-inspired color palettes. Artists associated with the series intended for the work to function as a satirical homage to classic creature features. Upon release, the issue was noted for its departure from standard industry tropes, finding a niche audience within the burgeoning collector community interested in short-run, self-contained horror comics.
