Guānyú wǒ Zhuǎnshēng Biànchéng Shǐláimǔ Zhèdàngshì #16

Guānyú wǒ Zhuǎnshēng Biànchéng Shǐláimǔ Zhèdàngshì, known internationally as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, originated as a light novel series by Fuse before being adapted into a manga illustrated by Taiki Kawakami. Issue #16 belongs to the ongoing serialization published in Shōnen Sirius, which began in 2015. This specific volume tracks the narrative progression of Rimuru Tempest as the character navigates the complexities of building a multi-species nation in a fantasy world.

The manga adaptation was designed to translate Fuse's intricate world-building into a visual format accessible to a broad shōnen demographic. Taiki Kawakami’s character designs lean into a clean, modern aesthetic that balances the whimsical nature of a slime protagonist with the high-stakes political drama of the plot. The series received significant acclaim for its subversion of traditional isekai tropes, becoming one of the most successful adaptations in the genre's contemporary history.
