Guānyú wǒ Zhuǎnshēng Biànchéng Shǐláimǔ Zhèdàngshì #3

Guānyú wǒ Zhuǎnshēng Biànchéng Shǐláimǔ Zhèdàngshì, widely known internationally as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, originated as a serialized web novel by Fuse on the user-generated content site Shōsetsuka ni Narō starting in 2013. The popularity of the digital prose led to a formal light novel publication by Micro Magazine in 2014, featuring illustrations by Mitz Vah. This specific release represents the third volume in the supplemental manga adaptation serialized in Monthly Shōnen Sirius, which interprets the light novel narrative through the lens of Taiki Kawakami's distinct illustrative style.

The manga adaptation was launched to broaden the franchise's accessibility, utilizing Kawakami's clean, expressive character designs to visualize the complex world-building and magic systems of the series. Issue number three continues the early arc of the protagonist Rimuru Tempest as they begin to organize the monster village, a pivotal sequence that solidified the series' reputation for blending lighthearted fantasy adventure with strategic nation-building themes. It was well-received by readers for maintaining the core spirit of the original narrative while providing a cohesive visual identity that eventually informed the successful anime adaptation.
