Hǎidào Zhànjì: Vinland Saga #29

Hǎidào Zhànjì: Vinland Saga, known internationally as Vinland Saga, is a celebrated historical manga series written and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura. First serialized in 2005, the narrative was initially influenced by the author's desire to explore the Viking Age, transitioning from a revenge-focused epic into a complex meditation on pacifism and the search for a place free from violence. The series has been widely praised for its meticulous attention to historical detail, character development, and evocative artistic style.

The 29th installment of the series continues the established tone of the Vinland arc, where protagonist Thorfinn attempts to establish a peaceful colony in North America. This volume reflects the mature phase of Yukimura's career, emphasizing philosophical dialogue and the societal tensions inherent in colonization. Like the rest of the series, the volume is published under Kodansha's Afternoon magazine imprint, maintaining the high standards of production and visual storytelling that have secured its place as a staple of seinen manga.
