Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway #13

Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway began as a web novel by Shimesaba before being adapted into a light novel series illustrated by Booota. The thirteenth volume serves as the final installment of the manga adaptation, which was illustrated by Imaru Adachi and serialized in Monthly Shonen Ace. This volume concludes the narrative arc following the protagonist, Yoshida, and the runaway teenager Sayu Ogiwara, exploring themes of emotional healing and unconventional guardianship.

The character designs by Booota and the subsequent manga adaptation by Adachi were noted for their distinct visual style, balancing the delicate subject matter of the series with a grounded, character-focused aesthetic. Upon its release, the volume was received as a definitive resolution to the controversial and complex relationship dynamics established early in the series, marking the culmination of a multi-year project that spanned various media formats including light novels, manga, and an anime television series.
