Hitorijime My Hero #16

Hitorijime My Hero, written and illustrated by Memeco Arii, began as a spin-off manga focusing on the character Kousuke Oshiba, who originally appeared in the author's previous work, Hitorijime Boyfriend. Published in Ichijinsha's Gateau magazine, the series gained popularity for its exploration of complex, evolving relationships between students and their older counterparts, eventually leading to a successful anime adaptation in 2017.

Volume 16 serves as a continuation of this long-running series, maintaining Arii’s distinctively soft and emotive artistic style. As with earlier volumes, the release was designed to capture the series' core themes of emotional intimacy and personal growth, reflecting the author's intentional focus on character development over dramatic plot contrivances. It remains a staple of the boys' love genre, appreciated by fans for its consistent tone and visual aesthetic.
