Il Giornalino #v. 77 no. 14

Il Giornalino is a long-running Italian weekly magazine for children and young adults, originally established by the Pauline Fathers in 1924. This specific issue, part of the 77th volume, reflects the publication's enduring commitment to blending educational content with serialized comics, religious guidance, and literary features. The magazine serves as a significant piece of Italian cultural history, having survived shifting political landscapes and the modernization of the publishing industry by maintaining a distinct editorial voice focused on Catholic values and accessible storytelling.

The design and content of Il Giornalino evolved over decades to feature collaborations with notable Italian illustrators and writers, aiming to foster reading habits among younger demographics. Issues from this era typically utilized a recognizable layout that prioritized vibrant comic art alongside informative articles on science, history, and social issues. While the magazine operated under the institutional support of the San Paolo Group, its artistic direction was frequently lauded for providing a platform for both emerging talent and established masters of the fumetti tradition, ensuring the publication remained a staple in Italian homes for nearly a century.
