Il Giornalino #v. 89 no. 12

Il Giornalino is a long-running Italian weekly magazine for children and adolescents, published by the San Paolo Group. Established in 1924, it was created with the intent to provide educational and moral guidance alongside entertainment, distinct from secular competitors. By the time this issue from volume 89 was published, the magazine had spent decades curating a blend of comics, current affairs, and religious features, remaining a staple of Italian youth literature through the transition from print to modern media.

The editorial direction during this era maintained the magazine's traditional focus on high-quality illustration and long-form narrative comics. It featured recurring characters and series that defined its visual identity, often collaborating with prominent Italian illustrators who balanced artistic experimentation with the publication's conservative values. Received as a dependable cornerstone of family-friendly publishing, the magazine is widely recognized for its historical contribution to the Italian graphic novel landscape.
