Isekai Yakkyoku #12

Isekai Yakkyoku, known in English as Parallel World Pharmacy, originated as a light novel series written by Liz Takayama and illustrated by keepout. The narrative follows a young pharmacologist who dies of overwork and reincarnates into a medieval world, where he applies modern medical knowledge to address systemic issues. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Sei Takano, began serialization in 2016 in Media Factory's Comic Flapper magazine, effectively translating the series' blend of fantasy and medical procedural elements into a visual format.

The twelfth volume serves as a significant installment in the ongoing manga adaptation, continuing the progression of the protagonist's medical institution and his interactions with the empire's nobility. The series has been received as a notable entry in the 'isekai' genre due to its focus on scientific problem-solving rather than traditional combat, with Sei Takano’s art style praised for balancing the technical descriptions of medicine with the character-driven elements of high fantasy.
