Jaguar God #6

Jaguar God was a supernatural comic book series published by London Night Studios in the mid-1990s. The series was deeply rooted in the era's trend of hyper-stylized, dark fantasy independent comics, leaning heavily into occult themes and bold, dramatic artwork that defined the publisher's house style. Issue number six served as a continuation of the narrative arc, exploring themes of ancient mythology colliding with a modern aesthetic.

The character and the series were largely the creative output of artist and writer Jeff Mariotte and interior artist Michael Bair. The visual design was intended to evoke a visceral, high-contrast atmosphere, utilizing thick inks and intricate panel layouts typical of the independent horror-fantasy market at the time. While the series garnered a dedicated cult following among collectors of underground and boutique comics, it remained a niche title that reflected the bold, sometimes polarizing artistic experimentation common within the 1990s comic book boom.
