Justice League Europe #10

Justice League Europe #10, released in early 1990, was part of the expansive Justice League franchise during the 'Bwah-ha-ha' era spearheaded by writers Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis. The series served as a tonal expansion of their work on Justice League International, focusing on a team based in Paris and emphasizing interpersonal drama and humor alongside traditional superhero conflict. This particular issue follows the team as they navigate global threats, maintaining the grounded, character-driven approach that defined the Giffen and DeMatteis tenure.

The interior art was provided by Bart Sears, a prominent illustrator known for his muscular, dynamic figures and distinctive, heavy-lined style. Sears was a definitive visual voice for the title, bringing a sharper, more intense aesthetic to the team's European exploits. At the time of its release, the issue was well-received by fans who appreciated the consistent mix of high-stakes action and the witty, often bickering group dynamic that became the hallmark of the Justice League Europe line.
