Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudō #13

Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudō, often known in English as 'KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World,' began as a manga series written by Aoi Akashiro and illustrated by Sonshō Hangetsuban in 2019. The narrative follows a cult leader's son who is transported to a world devoid of the concept of deities, where he must build a following for his own goddess to survive. The series garnered attention for its unique blend of comedic isekai tropes and sharp, often cynical commentary on organized religion and modern cult dynamics.

Issue #13 serves as a pivotal installment in the ongoing serialization published by Hero's Inc. The visual design, characterized by the distinct, expressive character work of Sonshō Hangetsuban, reflects the series' tonal shift between high-stakes fantasy and irreverent satire. Since its debut, the series has been well-regarded for its unpredictable plot progression, eventually receiving an anime adaptation in 2023 that further solidified the source material's place in the contemporary fantasy manga landscape.
