Kamisama no Gakkou - Yaoyorozu Goshinan Itashimasu #2

Kamisama no Gakkou - Yaoyorozu Goshinan Itashimasu is a light novel series written by Kurita Kanae and illustrated by the artist Himeki Mui. The series, published under the Kadokawa Beans Bunko imprint, emerged during a period of sustained interest in Japanese folklore and light fantasy themes within the light novel market. The second volume continues the narrative established in the series opener, further developing the interactions between the protagonist and the various deities and supernatural entities that frequent the titular school.

The character designs and cover illustrations by Himeki Mui are central to the work's aesthetic appeal, employing a soft, detailed art style characteristic of the shoujo-adjacent light novel aesthetic of the 2010s. The artwork was crafted to evoke a sense of warmth and whimsy, aligning with the series' focus on slice-of-life storytelling grounded in spiritual mythology. Upon release, the volume served to solidify the series' niche following, providing fans with additional lore and character development that extended the world-building introduced in the initial installment.
