Karetsu na Seijo-sama: Seijo Shōkan?! Kore wa Kadowakashi Dashi, Sonatatachi wa Zenin Zainin ja!! #1

Karetsu na Seijo-sama: Seijo Shōkan?! Kore wa Kadowakashi Dashi, Sonatatachi wa Zenin Zainin ja! began as a light novel series before being adapted into a manga version. The story follows a protagonist who is summoned to another world, only to reject the traditional expectations of a 'saint' by identifying the ritual as a kidnapping and confronting her summoners as criminals. This subversion of the typical 'isekai' trope is central to the series' identity, aiming to provide a more assertive and confrontational take on the genre.

The character designs and illustrations are central to the manga's tone, balancing the high-fantasy aesthetic with the sharp, indignant personality of the protagonist. Published within the competitive landscape of Japanese light novel and manga adaptations, the series is recognized for its humorous, character-driven approach to the fantasy-summoning narrative. It caters to an audience looking for a deviation from more passive fantasy protagonists, and it maintains a dedicated following among fans of self-aware, comedic light novel adaptations.
